Case study

Pizzaria AGERI

Eleven microservices, three telemetry signals, one trace_id.

A simulated pizzeria where every action becomes a structured log, a metric and a distributed trace, to show that application health and business health are different questions.

Pizzaria AGERI

A capture of the real home page, frozen in September 2026. The pizzeria's home page with the store running behind it: the last-24-hours order and revenue numbers came from the real services at capture time. You can scroll the whole page; buttons and forms don't do anything. Personal data was replaced before publishing. Nothing depends on the original site staying online.

The challenge

What stood in the way

  • Demonstrate business observability, not just infrastructure, in a truly distributed system.

  • Trace an order end to end even when it goes through a message queue.

  • Keep everything reproducible on the machine of whoever wants to study it.

The solution

What we built

  • Eleven single-responsibility services talking over HTTP and RabbitMQ, with trace context propagated through the queue.

  • A demand simulator with personas, an hourly curve and controlled chaos, generating real telemetry all the time.

  • Four dashboards and thirty-four alerts provisioned together with the environment.

Key features

What the project delivers day to day

Correlating the three signals

From chart to trace, from trace to log, always through the same trace_id.

Business metrics

Revenue, margin, funnel and conversion next to CPU and latency.

Queue with retry and DLQ

Asynchronous processing with staggered retries and a dead letter queue.

Front end without a bundler

Native ES modules, dialog, View Transitions and IntersectionObserver.

Before you ask

The questions that always come up.

We don't work with a fixed price list. The price comes from the project's complexity, turnaround time, level of detail and the scope of the admin panel. A twenty-minute conversation is enough for us to reach a number.
